Inclusion, Diversity and Equality

MoMo fosters trust, understanding, and compassion among people by promoting collaboration. Our programs focus on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and innovation skills, enabling students to become engaged thinkers.

Lifelong Learning Opportunities

MoMo’s Local Learning Communities offer a platform for everyone involved in enhancing students’ learning environment. Key skills in this initiative include fostering wonder, curiosity, and exploration.

A livable society is formed by critical, creative and enterprising citizens, who can work together across differences. Learned young is done old! Skills for global citizens include taking social responsibility, living culturally, globally and environmentally aware, and intercultural communication skills.

Entrepreneurial Education

MoMo adopts a “Learning-by-Doing” approach, which encourages students to develop action-oriented and entrepreneurial skills through practical experience. Key aspects include integrity, digital literacy, lifelong learning, personal leadership, intercultural cooperation, and adaptability.

Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world

MoMo Method

MoMo Education by Sister Schools Foundation offers a two-year digital educational exchange program for students in ages 10-12, 13-15, and 16-18 from schools on opposite sides of the wealth balance. The full program consists of 3 teaching blocks of 6 weeks per year. For 2 years, the Dutch school offers the students the same lessons as the Kenyan sister school. These 18 lessons are accessible via the digital learning platform. Students work together online on the assignments, share their learning experiences and insights and meet each other via live chats in groups or 1 on 1. Prior to each lesson block, teachers are informed via online training about the project that will be carried out by the students in the next lesson block.

Learning objectives and outcomes are:

Through the exchange of information, knowledge and experiences with peers with a different socio-economic and cultural background, students gain a broader perspective on reality and a better grip on their own living environment.
